Seasonal Changes ...

I have been doing some soul searching during my recent walks amongst the changing colours of Fall.

I am trying to decide if I need to change course with my blogging.

Last year after our return from our French adventure I started a new blog to record my "postcards" about my day to day adventures, my walks, our travels, etc. ... it worked for me as my personal journal, a place to jot down my thoughts and share some of my photos.

Just as the seasons change ...we ourselves change and evolve.

Having said that, I'm not sure what that means for me yet!

I'm feeling at loose ends probably because I haven't got back into the rhythm of posting regularly.

A few more long walks with my thoughts and I'll see which direction I will go.

It is probably one of the most beautiful times of the year to go walking in our area of the world.

The colours in the landscape are changing daily ... there is every shade imaginable ... Like an artist's palette.

Which path will I choose?

Which way would you go?

I Am Saying a Little Prayer ...

Trying to find my motivation or should I say "time" to get back into my blogging routine.

There has been many upsetting events happening in the world over the past few weeks ...

Things that can make you feel like you are drowning when you read the newspapers, watch the television broadcasts and browse the internet ...

... some closer to home than one would personally like.

... some affecting dear friends and their families in St. Louis.

... some that make you question how you can truly help people who are suffering from many illnesses, both physically and mentally.

For a bit of respite I stopped reading the papers, stopped watching the news broadcasts and stopped browsing the internet ... I walked around the garden giving myself some time to reflect and I said a little prayer for some "sunshine and light" to be added to everyone's life...

May you feel warmth and love in your life just like these beautiful sunflowers with their smiling faces!

Hope you enjoy a bit of colour shared from my late summer garden...
